About the event
Claire Lucie, a CMA registered canine nutritionist with years of experience in the pet industry, has spent the last two years analyzing over 1000 scientific papers on the relationship between diet, health, and illness development in dogs.
She will explain why our dogs do not require meat biologically, and will answer the burning issue, "Can our dogs be plant-based, and is it really an act of cruelty?" using scientific, peer-reviewed facts.

Claire Lucie will discuss how our dogs' diets are contributing to an epidemic of cancer, diabetes, and obesity in our dogs, why the food we feed our dogs has a massive and avoidable impact on the welfare and death of billions of animals worldwide each year, and the enormous impact of a meat-based diet for our pets on our planet and our future.
